MINNEAPOLIS, MINN (June 17, 2019)—The EMC Insurance Companies Minneapolis Branch has been named a Top Workplace in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. The list is based on team member feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection.
“We are excited to announce that for the first time ever, the EMC Minneapolis Branch was named a Top Workplace,” EMC Resident Vice President and Minneapolis Branch Manager Jerry Harlow says. “This award is just another example of how dedicated and hardworking our team members are.”
The Star Tribune Top Workplaces list recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 140,000 employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” CEO of Energage Doug Claffey says. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results.”
