DES MOINES, Iowa (Oct. 6, 2020)—Linda Rivera has joined EMC Reinsurance Company (EMC Re) as Assistant Vice President – Business Intelligence. Rivera is a seasoned reinsurance professional with more than 35 years of experience in underwriting, risk management and operational efficiency. She has a diversified background holding varying roles in assumed and ceded reinsurance.
Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Regional Multiline Manager for QBE Reinsurance. Prior to that, Rivera worked at XL Reinsurance, Gulf Insurance Company and Partner Reinsurance.
Rivera will be part of the executive team at EMC Re, leading the Business Intelligence unit providing consultation in areas of underwriting, risk management, pricing and analytics. Her unique background with expertise in both underwriting and operations will drive profitable growth and diversification of the portfolio. She will be based in the New York area.
