DES MOINES, Iowa (Oct. 27, 2026) – Insurity, a leading provider of cloud-based software and analytics for the property and casualty insurance industry, announced that EMC Insurance has received the Excellence in Operational Efficiency award at the 2026 Excellence in AI & Insurance conference. The award recognizes an insurance organization that has eliminated manual work and streamlined operational processes to improve efficiency, increase productivity, reduce complexity, and deliver measurable business results.
EMC Insurance earned this recognition for its work to modernize premium audit operations with Insurity Premium Audit. By improving how exposures are validated and premiums are calculated, EMC Insurance strengthened a critical function that directly influences underwriting profitability. Its approach helps better identify and capture earned premium, limit potential revenue leakage, and maintain greater financial accuracy across its business.
“Insurity Premium Audit has helped us improve the efficiency and accuracy of a process that’s critical to our business,” said Jim Slaski, AVP, Premium Audit at EMC Insurance. “By automating more of the work involved in validating exposures and determining premiums, we’re reducing administrative effort while strengthening our ability to capture the premium we’re owed. We’re pleased to receive this recognition and proud of the improvements our teams have delivered in partnership with Insurity.”
“Every year, our Excellence Awards recognize insurance organizations that are raising the bar for what technology can accomplish,” said Jatin Atre, CEO of Insurity. “EMC Insurance is a great example of what happens when insurers take a deliberate approach to innovation and stay focused on the business outcomes that matter. The work its team has accomplished reflects the kind of forward-thinking leadership we celebrate through our Excellence Awards. We’re proud to be part of that progress.”
