Our internship program, Experience EMC, is anything but conventional. You’ll be right in the heart of big projects, working with teams of passionate people and helping us innovate and drive meaningful change. Where an internship can lead
An internship is supposed to help you figure out what you want to do. Sometimes, it does that really well.
We've had high school interns come back for another internship, then return again as college students. We've had interns graduate and join EMC full time. And we've watched a summer experience turn into the start of an actual career.
Wherever you end up, you'll leave with real experience, new connections, and a much better answer the next time someone asks, “So, what do you want to do after graduation?”
High school interns
You shouldn't have to wait until college to find out what the working world is actually like.
That's why EMC partners with Des Moines Public Schools to give local juniors and seniors paid, real-world work experience before graduation. Students get a look behind the scenes, build skills they can put on a resume, and meet people doing jobs they may not have known existed.
We've called Des Moines home for a long time, so investing in the people growing up here just makes sense—starting with giving the next generation a place to get started.
