It just so happens that inclusion is one of EMC’s five core values. To us, our values are more than words on a wall; they’re intentions that guide us every day, in every interaction. Inclusion means ensuring team members of all backgrounds and identities feel respected, valued and empowered to bring their most authentic selves to work. Our employee-led Business Resource Groups (BRG) are a big part of that—giving team members a sense of belonging no matter what group they identify with. We currently have seven BRGs:
We’re deeply committed to making a positive impact in the communities where our team members work and live. We support more than 200 nonprofit organizations, including sponsorships for various groups such as women, LGBTQ+, cultural groups, and those advocating for disability and mental health awareness.
Our support extends to events like Women Lead Change conference, I’ll Make Me a World Iowa African American Festival, the Latino Heritage Festival, the Please Pass the Love Mental Health Conference and many others. Together, we strive to build a more inclusive and compassionate world.
