DES MOINES, Iowa (Jan. 19, 2023)—EMC Insurance Companies announced Pavan Goteti has been named the new vice president of innovation and business process management – a newly expanded role focused on enabling the people, processes and technology necessary to achieve EMC’s future-focused strategy. Goteti brings two decades of experience in the insurance industry delivering strategic and transformational initiatives that drive process efficiencies and promote operational excellence, most recently in an assistant vice president position at EMC.

Goteti joined EMC in December 2017 as a senior scrum master and quickly advanced to assistant vice president – agile delivery enablement. His passion for operational excellence and team member engagement has been instrumental to EMC’s adoption of an agile operating model, enabling teams to accelerate value delivery and increase responsiveness.

Goteti holds an MBA in management information systems and general business, as well as an MBA in financial management. In addition, he is a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM) and holds certifications in project management (PMP) and business analysis (CBAP).
