Northwest Branch volunteer project – Idaho foodbank

On Dec. 3, 2024, the Northwest Office had the pleasure of working with the Idaho Foodbank as part of our annual holiday celebration. Not only is this event incredibly fulfilling, but it also provides us with a fantastic opportunity to enjoy ourselves while giving back to the community.

Last year, we managed to sort an impressive 8,500 pounds of potatoes and apples in just two hours. This year, we beat our previous record by sorting 11,001 pounds of donated food for distribution! Our team was quickly trained to categorize the donations into various groups such as grains, snacks and cookies, meat, cereal, condiments, and more. We even had a few laughs along the way as we tried to decide which category some items belonged to.

This event has proven to be an excellent way for us to build stronger relationships within our team and with the community. We're proud of our collective effort and enthusiasm, and look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
