We recognize the impact of our energy use, waste, pollution and natural resource conservation, so we continually work to improve and better understand how our business’s operations affect the environment.
We also have a Catastrophe Management Committee—which guides our strategy for managing weather-related catastrophe losses that may be influenced by the ongoing and evolving risk of climate change.
Social
At EMC, community is more than another buzzword. We strive to create lasting change with a focused approach that combines philanthropy, volunteerism and workplace giving. EMC supports more than 200 nonprofit organizations dedicated to creating brighter futures for the communities in which we live and work.

Our ESG Committee is made up of passionate individuals from various corners of the company. They share insights, advise on ESG matters, and capture and report on of EMC’s ESG achievements. They’re the driving force in promoting ESG within all our departments’ strategies and practices, making a positive impact across the board.
